Where to Use Foam Insulation

  • Commercial
  • Residential
  • Agricultural

Outside Walls, Attics, Ceilings and Basements

Foam insulation provides high-performance protection for residential, commercial, and agricultural buildings with excellent R-value for roofs, outside walls and foundation sealants. Foam also blocks moisture and prevents mold from growing on the interior while increasing heating and cooling efficiency.

Large Spaces: Open Rooms, Cathedral and Vaulted Ceilings

Buildings with large open rooms or features like vaulted or cathedral ceilings are harder to regulate a comfortable inside temperature. Using foam insulation helps to even the temperature and cut down on utility bills.

Air Ducts, Windows and Doorways

The US Department of Energy (DOE) studies show that 40% of energy is lost because of air infiltration. Additionally, a typical home or commercial building loses 20% to 30% of the air that flows through its ventilation system. The culprit is leaky ductwork, which can be avoided with properly sealed and insulated ducts and joints, especially those routed through attics where temperatures vary from living spaces.

Barns and Sheds

Having a place of shelter and safety for livestock is important, and foam insulation can be a key factor to building a good tight barn with greater efficiency. Animals create much of the heat in a building, and foam is a good way to retain and recycle that warmth while protecting your investment and making a more comfortable place for livestock.
